"Do you ever stop and stare at sunsets, and sunrises, to try and imprint that exact pattern of clouds and colour and light into your memory? There's something so magical about that in-between moment, where it isn't quite light or dark, the sun is a buttery yellow, the shadows are long, and there's a touch of magic in the air... In this painting, I've done my best to capture that exact feeling."

About the Art
"Across the Fields" is a one-of-a-kind, original miniature watercolour landscape. This atmospheric, contemporary piece focuses on a dramatic, sweeping sky, featuring deep moody greys, purples, and blues that melt beautifully into a vibrant pink and orange sunset over a silhouetted field. Small yet incredibly impactful, it is the perfect piece of original wall decor for nature lovers.

(Love this colour palette? It pairs beautifully with its sister morning piece, Walking at Dawn).
